Software
Open-source packages I am a collaborator on.
NCL.jl
A pure-Julia implementation of Algorithm NCL (Ma, Judd, Orban and Saunders) for nonlinearly constrained optimization, part of the JuliaSmoothOptimizers ecosystem. NCL is a stabilized augmented-Lagrangian method that solves a short sequence of subproblems regularized by residual variables, which keeps it reliable on problems that violate the LICQ. Its subproblems are solved by interior-point methods such as IPOPT, Artelys Knitro and MadNLP. I made the solver integrations optional package extensions, added support for maximization problems and Julia LTS, made NCL declare infeasibility at the maximum penalty, and tuned how barrier parameters are passed to MadNLP and Knitro.
Qiskit.jl
Julia bindings for Qiskit through its C API. I added a TranspileOptions wrapper, add_instruction and add_property on Target, a delay method on QuantumCircuit with Unitful.jl units, readable show methods for wrapped C objects, and minimum-version testing of dependencies, and fixed memory cleanup in count_ops.
TagBot
The GitHub Action that creates tags, releases and changelogs for Julia packages when they are registered, used across the Julia ecosystem. I have had over 20 pull requests merged, including changelog support for backport and yanked releases, a changelog_format option, correct handling of Registrator branches and subdirectory packages, case-insensitive registry lookups, and clearer error handling for rate limits, permissions and malformed TOML.
QiOpt4QNet-Simulator
A quantum-network simulation and optimization framework. It models repeater networks with limited quantum memory and noisy links, builds candidate route and purification bundles for service requests, and compares exact MILP, QUBO and quantum annealing, tensor-network and classical heuristic solvers for admitting them. I am the top contributor: I added the Metropolis annealer and tensor-network optimizer, a conflict-aware purification scheduler, joint scheduling, adaptive-QUBO and GNN extensions, and the CI setup.
